Mel weaves her work as a Devotional, Spiritual Author, Researcher and Creative Channel with a focus on Women’s Human Rights and Social Justice. Her Vision is to Uplift the Humanity of Women Through the Teachings of the Sacred Feminine. Mel's vision extends far beyond conventional advocacy; it centers on imbuing the essence of the Sacred Feminine into her work. By intertwining spirituality and advocacy, she aspires to instill a sense of empowerment, wisdom, and unity among women. Her ultimate goal is to foster a world where women stand tall, revered for their innate strengths, and granted the respect and rights they deserve.
Mel is a creativily talented individual, embodying the roles of a Devotional Spiritual Author, Researcher, and Creative Channel with an unwavering focus on Women’s Human Rights and Social Justice. Her life's mission is deeply rooted in a vision that seeks to uplift and dignify the essence of women through the teachings of the Sacred Feminine. Residing in Melbourne, Australia, Mel's journey commenced as a teenager in Sydney, nurturing an ambitious dream of becoming a creative writer, director, and photographer for American Vogue. However, upon learning that only one person, Grace Coddington, occupied this prestigious role, she decided to travel. Her global sojourn encompassed traversing over 33 countries, residing, working and immersing herself in culturally rich locations such as Chelsea, London, Paris, and Italy. The profound artistry of the Renaissance era and the spiritual depth of these locales stirred her soul, culminating in defining 'soul moments' and spiritual awakenings.
During her travels, Mel's spiritual gifts blossomed, leading to an inexplicable connection with Mother Mary, who channeled ancient sacred texts through her. These surreal experiences remained private within her travel journal. Upon her return, fate led her to her life partner, celebrating two decades of a loving marriage and two children. Despite her familial responsibilities, Mel pursued academic excellence, acquiring Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Journalism and Communications from Monash University in Melbourne. Her professional journey led her through various prestigious roles in media organisations like Pacific Magazines, Women’s Weekly, Girlfriend Magazine and Thrive by Arianna Huffington as well as within corporate landscapes encompassing media, advertising, and public relations. Despite earning accolades in Journalism and securing a place in Monash Law's Juris Doctor Program, her heart yearned for a different path. The rigidity of law failed to align with her creative essence and family priorities.
Driven by her innate calling for creativity and writing, coupled with a fervent passion for women's rights and empowerment, Mel chose to redirect her trajectory. She pursued a Master's in Counseling at Monash University, specialising in areas like intergenerational and sexual trauma, cultural oppression, and historical trauma experienced by women. Furthering her studies at New York's Embody Lab, Mel delved into Integrated Somatic, Trauma, and Justice studies, earning certifications in Embodied Activism and Somatics. This experience deepened her commitment to women's rights, racial empowerment, and the liberation of marginalised communities. Today, Mel's life mission converges at the nexus of her deepest passions—advocating for women's human rights, spirituality, cultural exploration, travel, creative writing and photography. As a devoted spiritual author, researcher, and creative channel, guided by her main spirit guide, Mother Mary, Mel inspires women to reconnect with their innate divine feminine essence—the creative, spiritual heart and soul of every woman. Her life's work epitomises a tireless dedication to uplifting women, fostering empowerment, and weaving a narrative of equality, dignity, and reverence for the feminine spirit.
